Madness

It is the story of a violin, an accordion and a cello that meet on the benches of the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Paris. “Beethoven, Pärt, Vivaldi, Prokoviev mixing strings and an accordion is daring!” A prize of Honor and of the Public, at the international Léopold Bellan competition later: it was adopted! Because these three young multi-award-winning artists are anything but classical. Lisa Strauss, Théo Ould and François Pineau-Benois agree their differences on all styles, from baroque to contemporary. Régis Campo and Tomas Gubitsch entrusted them with their creations, and directors Yvan Schreck and Romain Winkler joined forces with their talents. Their musical friendship modernizes the repertoire, mixes genres and galvanizes, revealing a young generation of creatives.

Their first album “Madness” produced by DiscAuverS with their “discovery mission ” label of the Auvers-Sur-Oise Festival, does not deceive: they have the Follia at their fingertips.
